i know people read my blog because they want to see and hear about my adventures here in china. 99% of my blog is just that, but every once in a while i like to post about what's going on in my mind.

at the moment i am feeling the need to show appreciation for those in my life who mean the world to me. who have stood by me through everything, and who are continually a support to me.

life is nothing if you don't surround yourself with people who love you, and who you love.

here are some of the friends in my life, who i do not know what i do without.

miss sara nichole eggers.

she is my oldest and most trusted friend. we became best friends in the 8th grade, and i have been grateful for every year we've been best friends. sara has always been the one person in my life who i know that i can count on and who will always be there for me. no matter how long we spend in different states living our lives, we are always right there for each other. she seems to always know what to say to me when i need to talk, and not once in my life has she not supported me and my decisions. she is a great example to me. she is smart, beautiful, and have i mentioned hilarious? she has a pure heart, and i don't think i have ever met someone who does not love her. we have the weirdest sense of humor, and i wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. we have said this sentence more than once in our friendship, "we could be locked in a room with nothing but the two of us and we would have a good time laughing with each other being weirdos." and we totally believe that... im not sure what i would do without her in my life. i am lucky to have a best friend like her... because they don't come around every day.

my big brother michael

i have been so blessed to have him as an older brother. although he is my brother, he is also one of my best friends. we love spending time together and we always have a good time hanging out. if there is one person who understands my sense of humor, it is this guy. we both find the same ridiculous things funny and both act like weirdos in the same way. yes we are complete losers sometimes, and people think we are crazy, but we have a good time just hanging out! i am glad to have someone like him in my life to look up to. he is a great example to me. he has influenced me to make good decisions in my life more than he knows it. i will always be grateful for his love, protection, and friendship. i love him!

  miss jennifer ann gibson.

beautiful, smart, hilarious, and kind. that is how i would start to describe my poopy bears. yes, her nick name is poopy bears... got a problem with that? haha. i am SO glad that we have become best friends over the years. my life has been more fun and exciting with her in it. there aren't too many people that can make me BUST up laughing over nothing, but this girl....she definitely can. too many of my favorite memories with her are ones where we are sitting in cars, having sleepovers, sitting in the spa... just doing nothing but enjoying each others presence! she is the one person that i know will always be loyal to me, and always stand up for me. she is a true friend who understands the meaning of a real friendship. i love and appreciate everything she has ever done for me. She has been a good example to me of kindness and always doing what is right.  She is getting married soon, but she will always be in my life. She will always be my best friend. 

miss cierra schang

some might say, you guys have only been friends for a year how can you be that close? well let me prove you wrong. cierra schang and i were MEANT to be best friends. it just took a while for God to put us in each others paths, but He finally did when we met last year in china. i can't explain how much her friendship means to me. she is honestly one of the most kind, generous, accepting people i have ever met on this earth. she doesn't pretend to be a good person, the very inner core of her is good and she does good deeds each and every day that prove that point. she is the definition of Christlike to me. and on top of all of that she is beautiful and hilarious. we find the lamest things funny... and somehow turn the most ridiculous things into hilarious jokes. we love to dougie, cat daddy, and any other weird black people dance moves. she has helped me through some rough times in my life, and i can count on her 100% if i ever needed ANYTHING. that is something that you don't always come across in this life. i find her friendship one of a kind and something i will fight to never lose.

miss megan brunelle.
we have only been friends for a short amount of time... yet i feel like i have known her my whole life. the first time we met it was like we were sisters! i have never met anyone like her. I am pretty sure she can get along with any human being.. it is her best quality! she accepts me for the person i am and never judges. she listens to understand, not just to hear. she takes interest in my life and continually shows me why i need her in my life. the positive light she carries with her is something i am always drawn to. and on top of all that, we are complete WEIRDOS together.. ahhaha. in the best way possible though! we make weird faces, noises, and can just drive and drive and not be bored. so most of our best memories together are driving around in her car to different food places... it's just what we do! and i love it. there is never a dull moment with her, and well, she just makes me happy :)

JAROME

who says friendships can't start online... so we may have met over ichat, who cares! jaaron is one of the best friends i have and have ever had. he has never done one single thing towards our friendship that has been negative. he lets me vent to him whenever i need to, and never makes me feel like a burden. he sincerely cares about my well being, and he understands the meaning of being a supportive friend. he is not only a good friend, but a substantial human being. i don't think there is a devious bone in his body. he is straight forward, obedient, and just all around good. i really look up to him for that. without him, these last couple months would have been.... tragic to say the least! he is a talented musician and a VERY good soccer player. even though he claims to not like taco bell, i guess i can look past it to the other awesome things about his personality. i am super grateful to have him in my life, and i am lucky to have a friend like him.

MISS HANNAH LULLA

words can't really describe our friendship too well... if you took a step back you might see that we have only hung out here and there...talked here and there. but there is some strange, strong connection between us that will bind us for a really long time. i think hanna is one of the greatest people i have ever met. i don't worry about ANYTHING when we hang out. there are no worries... just the plain fact of enjoying life while being around her. let me tell you.. everyone loves her. not as much as me though of course!! she has a drive for adventure and i LOVE that about her. she is unique. she is hilarious. beyond hilarious. i am pretty sure every single time we have hung out that i have laughed myself to tears...yep, i would bet money on it. she is a deep individual who understands that life is precious and it is to be lived right. i can feel we will be friends until the day that we die... and then afterwards as well...foreber and eber.


there are so many people who have had a positive influence in my life and i wish i had time to write about each and every one of them. you never know the impact you can have on someone. i hope that i have made somewhat of a positive impact on these, and others lives. because isn't that what it is really about? living life trying to make it a better place for you and others? yeah that sounds pretty hippy-ish..but it's truuuuue!
