strange odors.

china is notorious for it's weird and usually nasty smells. i have no idea where it comes from half of the time, but we will be walking down the street and out of nowhere, BAM! it's like this huge gust of nasty smelling wind consumes us. it's pretty bad.

yesterday we went to the towns little ghetto market. just a bunch of farmers selling their meat, fruit, vegetables and vendors selling cheap household supplies like pots, mops, brooms etc.

now let me tell you, this place smells AWFUL. i seriously mean awful. it makes us all gag at one point or another being there. we went there because we needed to grab some things for our house: mop bucket, dust pan, shelves, floor cleaner etc.

i understand there is a bunch of fish all around, cut up meat, and other smelly things. but i am still not sure how it smells SO bad... it doesn't add up in my mind..
